VW Passat GLS 2001 1.8 turbo singnal indicator problem?
Hello, I have a 2001 VW i am passat.today notice a strange problem. When I turn my left turn signal, signal 2 -3 Flash off time and despite the indicator switch was turned on. I looked around on the Internet some people say it is an indicator of change and some people say it's a switch on hazard lights. I am not sure what to replace from these two. Are there similar problems or knows someone resolve this situation? Please send the boys, the answer is to worrying because it may lead to an accident too.
As far as I am aware of the unit monitoring indicators is included in the risk of switch testing a new hazard switch. If this solves the problem you have to replace the switch on the column indicators, disarmament, the means and the elimination of the air bag to remove the wheel. I did recently in a car from VW group for any reason, the airbag light and then stayed, that meant buying a tool to turn it off! Try the easy option with the danger of going ...... first
