You want to drive 55 miles for a job paying 15K more than they would in a job just 10 miles AWA
I had an interview today for an accounting job to pay 50K (or at least that's what I told them I had to do and sent me a separate indication of that fact). It is 55 miles away in another city. Would an hour drive to and from. Want to do it seriously?
It is likely out slightly ahead. Certainly you should consider any new offer to current employees and ask if he can succeed, or at least part of the same party. You may be able to get a raise, and not have to cross the extra distance or time.
