when a motor is supplied with voltage?
when a motor is supplied with voltage having no rotor in it, what will happen?
Removing the rotor will break the magnetic path, thereby decreasing the inductance of the stator and allowing higher current to flow, possibly enough to overheat the stator from Joule heating.
